Antonio Rallo è il nuovo presidente di Unione Italiana Vini. Lo ha eletto all’unanimità il nuovo Consiglio Nazionale nel suo primo insediamento avvenuto oggi nella sede UIV di Milano.
Antonio Rallo, già vicepresidente vicario, impegnato da anni in UIV sui temi della promozione e dell’OCM vino, succede a Domenico Zonin e resterà in carica per il prossimo triennio. “Ringrazio i consiglieri per la fiducia che hanno manifestato nei miei confronti – commenta Antonio Rallo, presidente di Unione Italiana Vini. Accetto questo ruolo con piacere e grande responsabilità, raccogliendo l’eredità del presidente e del Consiglio Nazionale uscente, che hanno saputo creare all’interno di Unione Italiana Vini un clima di collaborazione fattiva stimolando un’intensa attività in tutti i settori di interesse del comparto con risultati concreti sotto gli occhi di tutti. Proprio per questo, chiedo fin d’ora a Domenico Zonin di continuare il cammino al nostro fianco, portando il prezioso contributo che ha consentito a Unione Italiana Vini di essere riconosciuta quale principale riferimento istituzionale per il mondo vitivinicolo a livello nazionale e di raccogliere sinceri apprezzamenti anche a livello comunitario”.
“Da oggi stesso – continua Antonio Rallo – ci metteremo al lavoro per valorizzare i punti di forza emersi in questi anni, interpretando in senso autentico lo “spirito di continuità” che vuole lo sviluppo ulteriore dell’azione politica e l’implementazione dell’organizzazione interna. Per un’associazione che sia sempre più inclusiva verso tutte le imprese del ciclo economico della filiera vitivinicola (piccole e grandi imprese, viticoltori, cooperative, industria e commercio, consorzi e/o altre forme associative) e, pertanto, diventi maggiormente rappresentativa dell’intera filiera stessa. Un’associazione “di tutti gli imprenditori e per tutti gli imprenditori” che sappia farsi interprete dei principi dell’etica d’impresa, dei valori territoriali e dello spirito di filiera”. “Lascio la presidenza con grande serenità – aggiunge Domenico Zonin – perché so che Antonio Rallo sarà una guida sicura per Unione Italiana Vini. In questi anni abbiamo lavorato molto per ampliare la base sociale e sviluppare una capacità nuova di dialogare con la politica e le istituzioni italiane ed europee”.
Oltre ad Antonio Rallo, il consiglio ha eletto anche un vice presidente vicario della Confederazione, Ernesto Abbona, presidente della Federazione Nazionale degli Industriali Vinicoli, e un vice presidente, Quirico Decordi, presidente della Federazione Nazionale del Commercio Vinicolo.
