Sono già stati raccolti 9.300 euro per i grandi ustionati poveri del mondo durante un’asta benefica di bottiglie rare. È un autunno di cuore per le Donne del vino, 700 associate tra produttrici, ristoratrici, sommelier, enotecarie e giornaliste. Giovedì 24 novembre in tutta Italia si organizzano cene in favore dei pastori colpiti dal terremoto.
L’asta benefica è stata battuta nelle cantine Fratelli Berlucchi a Borgonato di Cortefranca (Brescia), ospiti della past president Pia Donata Berlucchi. All’incanto 30 lotti con 75 bottiglie pregiate: un dono collettivo e generoso di capolavori enologici che ha portato 9.300 euro nelle casse di ALMaUST, la onlus che soccorre i grandi ustionati poveri del mondo. Alla guida di questa organizzazione il professor Vincenzo Rapisarda, direttore della Struttura complessa Chirurgia Plastica e Centro per grandi ustionati dell’Ospedale Niguarda di Milano che ha ricevuto dalle mani della presidente nazionale Donatella Cinelli Colombini il premio Personaggio dell’anno 2016 delle Donne del vino per la sua opera scientifica e umanitaria, e per il suo impegno verso uomini e donne più poveri.
Ora un altro appuntamento vedrà impegnate le Donne del vino in favore dei pastori colpiti dal terremoto, piccoli eroi che rimangono coraggiosamente accanto alle loro greggi mentre la terra trema: giovedì 24 novembre si organizzeranno cene in 11 regioni. L’obiettivo è di sostenere i 15 pastori riuniti nel Consorzio per la tutela e la valorizzazione de l’Amatriciano, il pecorino tipico dei monti della Laga sull’Appennino. Affrontano il freddo e la paura nell’inverno del dopo terremoto per conservare una tradizione antica e preziosa al pari di un resto archeologico: i formaggi ottenuti, fino dall’epoca romana, dai pastori della transumanza sulla Via Salaria. Gran parte dei loro piccoli caseifici sono crollati e la lavorazione del latte si è concentrata nelle strutture consortili con grandissimi problemi anche commerciali perché nella zona terremotata il turismo non esiste più.
