Il Consorzio Vini Asolo Montello ha approvato l’adesione al Protocollo Viticolo 2017 del Consorzio Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
L’alleanza fra i territori del Prosecco si fa ancora più forte. Il Consorzio Vini Asolo Montello ha deciso infatti di adottare il Protocollo Viticolo 2017 del Consorzio Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. Insieme in difesa di un territorio comune. Un Protocollo che ora diventerà la linea guida in 34 comuni delle due Denominazioni: i viticoltori di 15 comuni della sinistra (Conegliano Valdobbiadene) ed i 19 della destra Piave (Asolo Montello) sono orientati a seguire le medesime virtuose indicazioni nella gestione sostenibile dei vigneti.
“La difesa del nostro territorio è una partita in cui ognuno deve dare il proprio contributo – dichiara Armando Serena, Presidente del Consorzio Vini Asolo Montello – e si vince solo facendo squadra. In questa direzione va il Protocollo condiviso che abbiamo approvato in questi giorni in Assemblea all’unanimità. I soggetti in campo hanno l’obiettivo di portare a casa un risultato unico: la difesa del suolo e la tutela del consumatore. Obiettivo condiviso anche dall’altra Denominazione della nostra aerea, la Prosecco DOC”.
Il Protocollo Viticolo, pubblicato dal Consorzio di Tutela del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore la prima volta nel 2011, è un documento che si muove nella direzione della sostenibilità e della tutela dell’ambiente. Per il 2017 si delinea una strategia di lotta integrata che abbraccia tutti gli aspetti della gestione del vigneto, partendo dal presupposto che la difesa della vigna non possa prescindere dalla gestione del terreno e della pianta.
Un’attenzione che il Consorzio Vini Asolo Montello ha sempre mantenuto alta, in particolare in termini di biodiversità: i Colli di Asolo e del Montello sono luoghi dove convivono boschi e fonti d’acqua, dove oltre alla coltura e la cultura della vite ci sono altri prodotti agricoli come patate, mele, ciliegie, piselli, fagioli. Un vigneto che fa parte di un mosaico di ambienti diversi sarà meno soggetto a trattamenti perché è già ricco ed equilibrato. Nel Protocollo Viticolo, per ora, viene fortemente sconsigliata la pratica del diserbo chimico che entro breve sarà vietata. In ogni aspetto della difesa del vigneto sono anche dettagliate le direttive da seguire per realizzare la linea biologica.
