Dall’8 all’11 febbraio 2017 in Sardegna in programma la V edizione del Concorso Internazionale promosso dal Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins du Roussillon. Il vitigno dei Colli Berici presente con 8 etichette. Il Tai Rosso si prepara alla quinta edizione del Grenaches du Monde 2017. Il Concorso Internazionale itinerante, promosso dal Conseil interprofessionnel des vins du Roussillon (Civr) in collaborazione con l’Agenzia Laore (Agenzia regionale per lo sviluppo in agricoltura) e della Regione Sardegna, quest’anno si svolge in Sardegna tra Alghero, Nuoro, Barumini e Cagliari. Degustazioni e premiazioni sono in programma dall’8 all’11 febbraio 2017.
Il concorso è aperto a tutte le tipologie di vino provenienti da qualsiasi paese o produttore, con una percentuale minima di Grenache del 60%. Per l’edizione 2017 100 giudici valuteranno i circa 700 vini in concorso provenienti da diversi paesi di tutto il mondo (Italia , Francia, Spagna, Germania, Gran Bretagna, Olanda, Belgio, Lituania, Slovenia, Grecia, USA, Libano, Giappone, Australia). Il vitigno autoctono dei Colli Berici, la cui natura genetica è identica a quella del Cannonau sardo, del Grenache francese e della Garnacha spagnola, nel vicentino ha trovato una sua specifica identità e tipicità: colore rosso rubino profumi di ciliegia, lampone, viola e spezie, in bocca freschezza e tannini delicati. L’uva si presta ad essere vinificata sia per una versione del vino più immediata, che a una più strutturata.
A Grenaches du Monde 2017 a rappresentare il Consorzio Vini Colli Berici e Vicenza ci sarà il nuovo Direttore Marketing e Promozione Giovanni Ponchia con una delegazione di aziende. Il Consorzio Vini Colli e Berici Vicenza avrà in concorso otto etichette: Azienda Dal Maso (presente con due vini: Colpizzarda 2013 e Montemitorio 2015); Colli Vicentini-Vitevis Tai Rosso Colli Berici DOC 2015; Cantina Pegoraro Tai Rosso Colli Berici DOC 2015; Fattoria Le Vegre Tai Rosso Colli Berici DOC 2015; Costalunga Tai Rosso Gheorgòs 2015; Società Piovene Porto Godi (presente con due vini: Thovara 2013 – Riveselle 2015). Il programma prevede alle 8:30 di venerdì 10 febbraio all’Hotel Carlos V di Alghero il concorso vero e proprio con tutti i vini in degustazione. Si potranno assaggiare i vini anche in occasione della serata “Alghero accoglie Grenaches du Monde” al Lo Quarter sempre il venerdì alle 20. L’annuncio dei vini premiati sarà invece la sera di sabato 11 febbraio all’Ex Manifattura Tabacchi di Cagliari, quando sarà svelata la Regione ospitante per l’edizione 2018 di Grenaches du Monde.
