Lo Stivale si conferma primo esportatore nel Paese, dove cresce la domanda di vini d’alta gamma.Forte del grande successo registrato nel 2016, Simply Italian Great Wines Norway torna per la seconda edizione a Oslo. L’appuntamento organizzato da I.E.M. (International Exhibition Management) per promuovere la produzione enologica dello Stivale è in programma lunedì 18 settembre, nel cuore della capitale scandinava.

Il format dell’evento comprende seminari, educational, walk-around tasting e incontri b2b negli ambienti di eleganza contemporanea del Gamle Museet (Dronningensgate 4). Il programma è rivolto a professionisti selezionati, importatori autorizzati del monopolio statale Vinmonopolet, distributori e operatori del settore Horeca (il secondo canale di distribuzione dopo Vinmonopolet), giornalisti e opinion maker. Il programma si apre alle ore 12 con la degustazione guidata “Inside Chianti Classico: The Diversity of its Terroirs and Styles”, organizzata dal Consorzio Vino Chianti Classico e condotto da Mai Tjemsland MW. A seguire, dalle 13 alle 16.30, si apre il grande walk-around tasting con i banchi d’assaggio delle Cantine protagoniste.

«L’elevato potere d’acquisto della popolazione (la Norvegia è tra le nazioni con il più alto reddito pro-capite in Europa) e l’attenzione riservata al vino italiano rendono il Paese un mercato di grande interesse» spiega Marina Nedic, Managing director di I.E.M. «L’incremento del prezzo medio delle bottiglie italiane (+1,9%), pur a fronte di una lieve contrazione delle vendite nel 2016 (-1,7% in valore rispetto al 2015), è un dato importante sul fronte dei fine wines: la qualità paga, e il consumatore scandinavo – sempre più evoluto ed esigente – è disposto a spendere di più per bottiglie d’alto livello».   L’Italia detiene il primato delle esportazioni in Norvegia: in dieci anni il giro d’affari del made in Italy è quasi triplicato, attestandosi a 123,4 milioni di euro per 282.300 ettolitri nel 2016 (oltre un terzo del comparto complessivo, che vale 353,3 milioni di euro per 870.000 ettolitri). I rossi fermi sono la tipologia più richiesta dai consumatori e valgono oltre il 60% del venduto in quantità. Ma al contempo cresce la richiesta di spumanti, trainata dalla moda tutta italiana del Prosecco. Un trend diffuso soprattutto nelle fasce di consumo più giovani, che rappresenta un’ulteriore opportunità di crescita per la nostra produzione enologica.
