Nel giardino del Castello di Roddi (Cuneo), Sabato 27 maggio, torna “Io, Barolo – la nuit”, evento organizzato dalla Strada del Barolo per presentare la nuova annata del Barolo. L’atteso appuntamento di primavera in Langa è arrivato ormai alla quinta edizione consecutiva. Come sempre, protagonisti saranno i produttori, che con il loro lavoro continuano a rendere grande il “Re dei Vini”, e insieme a loro gli enoappassionati, che avranno la possibilità di degustare più di trenta diverse etichette di Barolo.
L’evento si apre alle 18.30 con la degustazione tematica dedicata al Barolo 2013 dei soci della Strada del Barolo: i produttori presenteranno i loro vini e ne illustreranno personalmente caratteristiche e peculiarità. Ogni partecipante riceverà un calice da portare a casa come ricordo della serata e un coupon che gli consentirà di effettuare la visita a una delle cantine presenti all’evento con uno sconto del 10% su eventuali acquisti. In piazza Umberto I, per tutta la serata, altri vini di Langa saranno serviti in abbinamento a una selezione di prodotti tipici del territorio. Si potranno acquistare singoli piatti insieme ai vini rossi importanti e freschi bianchi.
Saranno proposte anche due iniziative collateriali: una Wine Tasting Experience® condotta dal sommelier Sando Minella con degustazione di una selezione di vini piemontesi abbinati a prodotti agroalimentari di eccellenza (ore 17.30 in italiano; 30 posti disponibili / ore 20 in inglese; 15 posti disponibili), e la prima edizione di “Barolo Orienteering” condotta da Andrea Zarattini di Wine Zone (ore 20; 30 posti disponibili), degustazione di Barolo che fornirà ai partecipanti le coordinate per riconoscere un territorio in un bicchiere, restando comodamente seduti. L’evento è organizzato con il contributo della Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Cuneo, con il patrocinio dell’Associazione per il Patrimonio dei Paesaggi Vitivinicoli di Langhe-Roero e Monferrato e grazie alla collaborazione di Comune e Pro Loco di Roddi e Turismo in Langa.
Durante l’intera giornata sarà inoltre possibile visitare la mostra “Tra Vino e Colore“, allestita dal gruppo “Arte a Modo Mio” di Cascina Aquilone ONLUS presso il Castello di Roddi, con il patrocinio di Comune di Roddi, Barolo&Castle Foundation e Strada del Barolo e grandi vini di Langa: un percorso tra vino e colori, un ciclo di opere nate dall’interazione tra le ragazze della Fondazione Cascina Aquilone Onlus di Roddi, coordinate dalla terapista Elena Vecchi. La mostra inaugurata sabato 6 maggio resterà aperta tutti i weekend di maggio dalle 14.30 alle 18.30.
