La prima mostra mercato dedicata alla canapa e al peperoncino. Si chiama Pikkanapa e si terrà a Jesi (AN) dal 2 al 4 settembre. Tre piazze storiche, tra cui la celebre piazza dove nacque l’Imperatore Federico II di Svevia, ospiteranno oltre cinquanta espositori tra aziende agroalimentari, vivaisti, street food e artigiani del tessile, che proporranno al pubblico i molteplici utilizzi delle due piante dalle mille proprietà.
Sarà possibile degustare oltre cento tipologie di peperoncino in tutte le forme: dal frutto fresco, fino al gelato, passando per l’olio e le polveri. Tra le novità della terza edizione, in anteprima: la birra alla canapa piccante aromatizzata all’Habanero Chocolate a marchio Pikkanapa e l’estratto di peperoncino habanero da utilizzare in cucina e nel mondo cocktail. Nell’occasione verrà presentato il libro di ricette con la canapa edito da “Nutrizionisti Senza frontiere”. Durante la manifestazione sarà attivo lo sportello Pikkanapa per ricevere i suggerimenti e le informazioni sulla coltivazione, raccolta e conservazione di Peperoncino e Canapa, oltre che per la condivisone di ricette e lo scambio di semi e piante. Gli stand gastronomici per degustare bevande e cibi piccanti e a base di canapa realizzati con prodotti tipici delle Marche saranno aperti tutti i giorni dalle ore 18.00 e anche a pranzo nelle giornate di Sabato e Domenica.
La gara dei “mangiatori di peperoncino”
Sabato 3 settembre alle ore 20:00 si terrà la competizione “Il Mangiafuoco” – una “bruciante” gara di mangiatori di peperoncino estremamente piccante con premiazione finale. Durante la manifestazione verrà presentato il libro “Canapiamoci! Il Buongusto della Cucina a base di Canapa” il cui ricavato sarà devoluto a Nutrizionisti Senza Frontiere ONLUS, per il sostentamento del centro di ricovero per bambini malnutriti che l’Associazione sta per inaugurare ad Esquipulas, in Guatemala, nell’ambito del “progetto Alegrìa”. Numerosi i laboratori dedicati alla canapa, tra cui quello di manualità tessile dal filato al tessuto: il filo prende forma diventando borse, cinture e tutto ciò che la mente suggerisce, lavorando con il telaio e con la tecnica del macramè importata dai marinai genovesi in un periodo in cui l’Italia la faceva da padrona nella produzione di canapa, grazie all’enorme domanda proveniente dalle repubbliche marinare. Per tutta la durata di Pikkanapa, sarà possibile visitare il“Museo Itinerante della Canapa” a cura dei Fratelli Bernardini, il primo museo tematico dedicato alla Canapa d’Italia presso la Galleria del Teatro Valeria Moriconi.
Domenica 4 settembre si terrà infine il convegno “Esperienze sulla canapa industriale”, al quale prenderanno parte imprenditori e artigiani che hanno saputo valorizzare la coltivazione della canapa, tra cui Antonio Trionfi Honorati, un pioniere nella coltivazione della Canapanelle Marche, Roberto Campelli sindaco del comune di Monsano, dove esiste una denominazione comunale della canapa, Giovanni Milazzo, fondatore di Kanesis, una start-up pluripremiatache ha brevettato un materiale composto da canapa adatto alla stampa 3D; Rachele Invernizzi, Presidente South Hemp Tecno attiva nella lavorazione delle fibre di Canapa per la Bioedilizia e Mattia Guarnera, mastro birraiolo che produce birra alla canapa con i detenuti del carcere del Barcaglione.
