La Reggia di Venaria si trasformerà nel palcoscenico del Roero: due giorni per raccontare la lunga tradizione vinicola di questa denominazione attraverso degustazioni, momenti di approfondimento e laboratori. Il 20 e 21 marzo 2016 il Consorzio Tutela Roero segna in agenda un importante appuntamento: Roero Days, la manifestazione che farà conoscere una delle denominazioni e delle aree viticole più prestigiose del Piemonte. Entrambi i giorni, dalle 10.45 alle 19.00, la Cascina Medici del Vascello, all’interno dello splendido giardino antistante la Reggia di Venaria (Torino), Patrimonio dell’Unesco, aprirà le porte alla degustazione di 250 vini Docg, prodotti da 100 cantine dell’area.
Non solo momenti di assaggio ma verticali, laboratori, illustrazioni di pubblicazioni e dibattiti a cui prenderanno parte alcuni dei più importanti critici ed esperti del settore, come Daniele Cernilli (Guida essenziale ai vini d’Italia, Doctor Wine), Gianni Fabrizio (Vini d’Italia del Gambero Rosso), Fabio Gallo (Associazione Italiana Sommelier), Giancarlo Gariglio (Slow Wine), Eleonora Guerini (Vini d’Italia del Gambero Rosso), Vittorio Manganelli (critico enogastronomico), Alessandro Masnaghetti (Enogea) e Paolo Zaccaria (e-book Wines of Roero). I professionisti di prestigio guideranno gli appassionati in un viaggio sensoriale all’interno delle peculiarità dei vini bianchi a base di arneis e dei rossi a base di nebbiolo, prodotti nell’area del Roero, che terminerà con la degustazione di due piatti elaborati dai Ristoranti l’Enoteca di Canale di Davide Palluda e Il Centro di Priocca della famiglia Cordero.
Protagoniste dell’evento anche le vendemmie storiche, di cui si potranno apprezzare le potenzialità evolutive: due verticali metteranno in assaggio quindici anni di Roero, da uve nebbiolo, e dieci di Roero Arneis. Vi sarà inoltre l’opportunità di conoscere le differenze tra i principali vini piemontesi attraverso degustazioni comparate dei più significativi bianchi regionali e delle più importanti denominazioni a base di nebbiolo. Tra gli appuntamenti più importanti domenica, alle ore 11, c’è la presentazione del volume Vent’anni di Roero di Davide Palluda. Sempre domenica, alle 14, sarà invece protagonista l’e-book Wines of Roero, a cura di Paolo Zaccaria. Da segnare in agenda anche la tavola rotonda dal titolo “L’identità del Roero Docg e le prospettive di mercato” che si terrà lunedì 21 marzo, alle ore 14, e che avrà tra i relatori Daniele Cernilli, Oscar Farinetti, Alessandro Masnaghetti, Roberto Racca, Ueli Schiess e il presidente del Consorzio di Tutela Roero Francesco Monchiero.
