Il fenomeno del global warming sta generando importanti cambiamenti climatici segnati da eventi repentini, non prevedibili e con conseguenze dannose per l’agricoltura: gelate improvvise, piogge violente e con masse d’acqua enormi stanno causando danni ingenti al settore. Nasce da qui l’incontro dibattito “Viticoltura e cambiamenti climatici: conseguenze e interventi”, organizzato da Assoenologi Campania – l’associazione rappresentante di circa cento tecnici del settore vitivinicolo sul territorio regionale – in collaborazione con l’Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II Dipartimento di Agraria e con il patrocinio della Camera di Commercio di Avellino.
Lunedì 12 Giugno, alle ore 17, presso la sede della Camera di Commercio Avellino in Piazza Duomo si discuterà di rischi, danni e possibili rimedi con relatori accademici che hanno esperienza consolidata in materia sia a livello nazionale sia a livello regionale. Negli ultimi anni le gelate si stanno verificando con maggiore frequenza, quasi a delineare una costante nel clima territoriale, condizionando gravemente le prime fasi vegetative dei vigneti in quasi tutti gli areali di produzione della nostra regione. Da qui l’esigenza di mettere sotto la lente il fenomeno con lo scopo di offrire agli enologi del territorio maggiori conoscenze, strumenti di prevenzione e rimedi in vigna ai danni scaturiti dalle brine>
